We're Sick ov Your Violence
'Sick' is Danish duo Hinsidan's first release, but it succeeds in making the kind of lasting statement that most self-absorbed electronic music bypasses. clearly the duo are sick of the destructive ways of the world and their sentiments translate into four angry, menacing tracks. Taking inspiration from innovators like DAF and Psychic TV - hence the weird 'Ov' spelling- and bringing their industrial take on electro up to date, Hinsidan switch from the dense, funky breaks of the title track to the slow, distorted kicks on 'Viva! Refusenicks' and the dubby ominious drums of 'We Are Carving Peace Symbols In Your Tombstone'. 4/5
